NORFOLK, Va. – Heavy rain has delayed the opening of the 2012 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Baseball Championship in Norfolk, Virginia today, moving all the games back approximately two hours.

Savannah State, the number four seed in the southern division, was slated for a 4 p.m.  start against Delaware State (the number one seed in the northern division). The Tigers will now begin at approximately 6:30 p.m.
