Washington Inks Baseball Contract

EL PASO, Tx.- Savannah State senior outfielder David Washington signed a baseball contract to play with the El Paso Diablos.
The Diablos play in the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball.
A native of Bronx, New York, Washington has started 41 of the 42 games he has played in this season. Washington is batting .325 with 40 hits, 39 runs, 27 walks, 20 RBI, 12 doubles, 2 home runs and two triples. In the field he has a .992 fielding percentage.
