ORLANDO, Fla. – The Savannah State University softball team (3-6) fell to Czech Republic (1-3) 6-1 Sunday at the Citrus Classic at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Disney World.

Brianna Harris and junior first baseman
Elizabeth Humes each recorded a hit, while Harris scored the only run.
Czech scored the first run in the top of the first inning after an RBI single to take a 1-0 lead and increase the lead after scoring another run in the fourth inning for a 2-0 lead after an RBI single.
Czech scored four runs in the sixth inning after four RBI singles for a 6-0 lead, but Savannah State got on the board in the bottom half of the inning after Harris stole home.
The Lady Tigers return home to face Mount St. Mary's Wednesday in a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. at Lady Tiger Field.
