PHILADELPHIA, Ms.- The Savannah State men's golf team placed third in the Frito Lay/Taco Bell Intercollegiate hosted by Jackson State and played at the Dancing Rabbit Golf Course.
SSU had a team score of 609 and finished behind McNeese State (604) and Georgia Southwestern (606).
The Tigers finished one shot ahead of host Jackson State (610).
Individually,
Ryan Lassiter (76-75) and
Javier Godoy (75-76) led SSU with 151 while
Travis Roe (79-73) was on their heels with 152. Ceda Ilic (78-77) shot 155 and
Craig Jarrell (90-82) shot 172 to round out the SSU scoring.
J.P Griffin of Georgia Southwestern and Brendon Caballero of UT Martin tied for low medalist with a score of 147.
