GAINESVILLE, Fla.- The Savannah State women's 4x400m relay team won first place in their event at the Gator Invite held at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.
The team of
Aleah Hordges,
Jazy Seay-Blane,
Chavonta Roberts and
Amara Jones posted a time of 3:50.56 to win the race.
Jones had a pair of second place performances in the 200m (24.74) and the 400m (55.48) races.
Hordges was 5th in the 400m with a time of 57.35 while Seay-Blane was 7th in the race with a run of 58.08.
Jaymi White was 4th in the long jump with a leap of 5.70m and
Amber Hughes was 4th in the triple jump with a jump of 11.53m.
