Savannah State Athletics

Charleston, S.C. - The Lady Bulldogs of The Citadel won their first game of the season as they defeated the Lady Tigers volleyball team 0-3 (07-25, 07-25, 15-25) on September, 8 in the McAlister Field House.

Defensively, Savannah State’s Asiha Williams dominated the game with a high of nine digs, along with Bianca Helton who led the team in kills with four. Ashlee Butler recorded eight assists for the Lady Tigers.

Lady Bulldogs Amanda Beal led the game with nine kills along with Emily Dalton who also recorded a game high of nine digs.

The Lady Tigers are currently 1-7 and will play the Lady Barons of Brewton Parker in Tiger Arena on September 9 at 7:00 p.m.
