SSU Women Sixth At Fall Invitational

SAVANNAH, Ga.- Savannah State finished sixth in the 2009 SSU Fall Invitational with a team score of 920. SSU shot 466 in the first round and 454 in the final round.
Vonnetta Epps finished 24th overall to lead SSU with a 199 (98+101). Cassie Standard was 26th with a 215 (113+102) followed by Brittany Wilson who was 27th with a 240 (119+121) and Brittany Chretien who finished 29th with a score of 266 (136+130).
Hampton was the overall team leader with a score of 626 (314+312). Bethune-Cookman also had a 626 (315+311) followed by South Carolina State 659 (322+337), Alabama State 683 (348+335) , Tennessee State 717 (365+352) and SSU.
Bethune’s Kim Wong was the individual winner with a total score of 149 (74+79). Kala Williams of Hampton finished one shot back at 150 (78+72).
