Tigers 8th After First Round of SSU Men's Golf Invitational

SAVANNAH, Ga.- The Savannah State men's golf team is in 8th place after day one of the SSU Fall Invitational with a team score of 332.
The Tigers individual leader is Tripp Walker who shot a 78. Following Walker is Daniel Hanania (82), Ricky Williams (85), Peter Teifer (87) and Craig Jarrell (89).
Morehouse is the team leader after the first round with a 307.
Bethune-Cookman is four shots back at 311 followed by Alabama State and Virginia State who are tied for third at 320.
Rounding out the field is Winston-Salem State (324), Hampton (329), North Carolina Central (330), SSU, Florida A&M (335), Alabama A&M (337), Fayetteville State (349) and
St. Augustine's (415).
Willie Mack of Bethune is the individual leader with a 68 followed by Chase Kennedy (71) of Alabama A&M, Philip Allen (72) of Morehouse, Bryan McElderry (73) of Morehouse and Greg Hunt (74) of Virginia State.
